StyleWeekOC partners with the Newport Beach Film Festival for a second year at Fashion Island from Oct. 15-19. Cinephiles and fashionistas celebrate movie and fashion magic with glamour-inspired screenings, red carpets and beauty activations.

Highlights of StyleWeekOC’s 14th edition include the opening-night Taste of Style gala; a Neiman Marcus runway show benefitting CASA OC; the keynote with “Emily in Paris” star Ashley Park presented by Women’s Wear Daily; an author talk with Penn Badgley and his Podcrushed co-hosts; and the West Coast premieres of the films “Thom Browne: The Man Who Tailors Dreams” and “Akris – Fashion With a Heritage.”

The 26th annual Newport Beach Film Festival takes place Oct. 15-22, attracting nearly 60,000 attendees for daily screenings and seminars and nightly galas and receptions. Screenings take place at venues including The Lot Fashion Island and the Edwards Big Newport 6.

The renowned event is among the largest luxury lifestyle film festivals in the U.S. Three hundred films selected from 3,000 submissions vie for top honors in 30 categories, split among audience and jury awards and others for outstanding achievement in filmmaking.
