Sky’s the limit for new menu at RH Ocean Grill

Never mind that Fashion Island’s spectacular RH Ocean Grill is on a rooftop atop four grand flights of stairs. Its new menu (partially inspired by the fall opening of RH Paris) is next level.

The starters, for starters: At the top is an entire section devoted to caviar carpaccios. Bluefin toro, king salmon, yellowtail, avocado and beef filet versions are each finished with Petrossian Kaluga caviar, chives and smoked sea salt.

Don’t worry, caviar-topped favorites such as the Impossibly Thin Housemade Chips & Dip and the mini lobster rolls are still there.

Petite baked potatoes, with chives and crème fraiche, also debut. The Parisian version adds caviar; the American, bacon and cheddar cheese; and the classic, sea salt. Honey brown butter tops the sweet potato.

Salad offerings including a lobster salad, crab salad and green bean salad join the Chinese chicken and classic Caesar.

Among mains, a Tuscan veal chop and grilled petite lamb chops now complement the popular shaved rib-eye dip and whole branzino.

An expanded cocktail list offers more reasons to celebrate. Additions include a pear martini, a classic old-fashioned and the Gin Basil Smash.

As if the contemporary chandeliers, faux olive trees and stylish fountains weren’t transporting enough, apparently, the sky’s the limit.
