Master Planning for new housing in Newport Center

Residents of Newport Center’s residential communities enjoy resort-like amenities and the rare SoCal opportunity to live steps from coveted shopping, dining, civic amenities like the public library, open space and hundreds of businesses. 

It is precisely for these reasons that the city of Newport Beach selected Newport Center as one of several locations for new housing in response to California mandates. 

Irvine Company has proposed two Newport Center communities consistent with the city’s goals. The new communities are designed to provide high-quality housing for employees and business owners working within Newport Center and others who want to live within walking distance of all the area has to offer.

The first, at 800 San Clemente, will add 200 new apartments to our Villas of Fashion Island community, which set a new standard for luxury rental living in Newport Beach. The second community, at 100 Newport Center Drive, will have the same quality and attention to detail as The Villas, with 600 new residences proposed and 28% of the community devoted to open space. The communities will replace offices and an underutilized parking structure.

Irvine Company’s legacy of master planning in Newport Beach ensures that new communities will be planned and built to the highest quality.
