Culinary Adventures: Kids Eat Free this summer at Newport Beach spots

Your whole family can explore, share and savor.

Little foodies get a tasty trip around the globe throughout the summer via the new Culinary Adventures: Kids Eat Free program. Sundays through Thursdays at more than a half dozen restaurants in Newport Beach, purchase an adult entrée and enjoy one complimentary kids’ meal.

How’s this for a delectable journey? Participants at Fashion Island include Mariposa at Neiman Marcus, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Red O Taste of Mexico and Zood for Persian fare. You can find American, Mexican and Californian dishes at Mutt’s Eastbluff Village Center and pizza at Fresh Brothers Westcliff Plaza.

How to access: Website and mobile app Retail Therapy is the one-stop hub for Kids Eat Free as well as hundreds of other shopping, beauty and activity deals. Creating a free account unlocks premium perks, but you can browse and redeem most of the offers multiple times without signing up.

The sole Kids Eat Free exception: Mariposa is a premium offer that only can be redeemed once, and a Retail Therapy account is required to redeem it. Otherwise, simply select a participating restaurant, click Get Offer, visit the restaurant and click Redeem. The fine print: Kids must be 12 or under, one kid’s meal per party, dine-in only, through Aug. 28.
