Brunch worth celebrating at A Crystal Cove

Coastal-chic dining destination A Crystal Cove enhances its already splendid weekend brunch with a new custom mimosa cart – flower-bedecked and powered by Prosecco and Veuve Clicquot Champagne – and live music.

Weekends should feel special, says restaurant partner Jordan Otterbein: “With live music on Sundays and the mimosa cart Saturdays and Sundays, brunch becomes less of a meal and more of a celebration.” 

In addition to premium bubbles, the mimosa cart brings juices such as passion fruit, guava and orange, liqueurs such as St-Germain and Chambord as well as fresh garnishes. Each glass is made to individual preferences.

Mimosas complement dishes such as decadent brioche French toast with strawberry compote, mascarpone cream and berries, or savory duck confit sopes, layered with A5 Wagyu refried beans, salsa verde, breakfast radish and queso fresco.

The Niman ground chuck A burger is another brunch favorite. Luxe options include caviar service and a lobster Cobb salad. Brunch is served Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bottles of Champagne and sparkling wine are half off Friday through Sunday. The restaurant also features live music Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
